What if you approached your everyday life with the same curiosity, openness, and intention that you bring to traveling somewhere new? This week, we're exploring something that can make a meaningful difference in how we experience life, recognizing that we're actively participating in it, every single day.
Think about how you prepare for a vacation. You may already be imagining what you'll explore, how you want to feel, and the experiences you're looking forward to having. You're setting a tone before you even arrive. Now imagine approaching your daily life with that same awareness.
How are you directing your mind? What frequency are you beginning your day in? What stories are influencing your expectations? How can your experiences change when you become more conscious of how you're choosing to participate?
We'll also explore why your daily energetic practice matters, even when you only have a few minutes. Your baseline influences how you meet people, situations, and opportunities that unfold throughout your day.
Then we'll move into our collective oracle reading, featuring four cards from The Energetic Alchemist Oracle: Challenge, Commitment, Nostalgia, and Liberator. Together, these cards bring our attention to relationships, agreements, familiar patterns, and the possibility of recognizing something that helps us move beyond old ways of responding.
There may also be opportunities this week to revisit something from the past, gain clarity around a relationship or commitment, or recognize where an old story has been influencing your present experience. And when something becomes clear, what will you choose to do with that recognition?
As always, take what resonates, remain curious, and remember that your energy, consciousness, and choices are part of how you experience this journey.

You As the Mystic, Energy of September 2026
We're welcoming September 2026, one of my favorite months of the year. Join me in celebrating Reiki Radio's 13th anniversary on September 4th, and learn how the podcast is evolving again after personal growth. Before we get into the energy of this month, I'm also sharing my thoughts on how spiritual and energy-work teachings vary through perspective and how direct practice and personal experience are more important than debating who is right or wrong.
Then we'll cover September’s essence of refinement through Virgo season, the teachings of the Mystic oracle card, and key astrology dates including the new moon in Virgo, the autumn equinox, and the full moon in Aries.

What Happens After Your Reiki Classes
Hello, Beautiful Alchemist…
One of the things I’ve learned through years of practicing and teaching Reiki is that taking the classes is only the beginning. Our Reiki training gives us a beautiful foundation where we learn techniques, principles, practices, and new ways of understanding energy. Then we go home and begin living with it…and that’s often when the really interesting questions begin.
· What else am I noticing?
· I’m I doing this right…does it really work?
· I’m I good enough at this?
· Can I trust what I’m sensing?
· How does intuition fit into my practice?
· What else is possible with energy work?
· And what does any of this have to do with the person I’m becoming and the life I’m actually living?
This is why I created The Alchemy Circle…
While Reiki is our foundation, Alchemy Circle isn’t only about Reiki. It’s an ongoing space for exploring energetic alchemy, intuition, frequency, consciousness, mind-body-energy unification, and various energetic arts in ways that support both your practice and your everyday life.
If you’ve been attuned to at least Reiki Level One, regardless of lineage, you’re welcome to join us. You don’t need to consider yourself advanced, or have your intuitive abilities figured out. And you definitely don’t need to know what your unique path or purpose is before you arrive. That’s part of what we’ll explore.
We meet live, twice each week, creating dedicated space for education, personal practice, questions, experimentation, and the kinds of conversations that become possible when we’re willing to stretch beyond the basics. And if you can’t attend every class live, everything is recorded so you can move through the work as your schedule allows.
Over the years, I’ve watched something beautiful happen within this community. People begin trusting themselves differently. They become more comfortable being seen and heard in their authenticity. Old doubts around what they’re capable of begin to soften. Their understanding of energy expands, but so does their understanding of themselves, their lives, and the ways they want to participate in the world. I’ve watched people blossom in community in the most incredible ways! There’s something powerful about exploring these parts of ourselves alongside others who are also curious, practicing, questioning, and discovering.
To be clear, my goal isn’t to teach you to practice exactly like me.
My mentoring is to help you move beyond spiritual information overload and into embodied energetic trust, becoming more confident in your own energetic expression and the path that is uniquely yours.
Registration for The Alchemy Circle, or Path of Self Mastery, 2027 is now open…
We’ll begin December 2nd with Alchemy of the Seeker, the foundational portion of Oracle School, which is included with your 2027 membership. Group mentoring begins in January, along with our continued Alchemy Circle classes and practice throughout the year.
And for those ready to go even deeper, Path of Self Mastery offers an additional layer of focused study and personal development, supporting you in bringing these teachings into greater embodiment and conscious practice. It’s membership in The Alchemy Circle, and also includes one personal session with me, monthly.
If you’ve taken Reiki and found yourself wondering, What else is possible with this work? What else am I capable of understanding?...
Come explore with us, with an open heart and mind, ready to go deeper than you have before.
I'll see you in class.
With love and gratitude,
Yolanda

Your Influence and Evidence of Reiki Practice
Welcome back to the origins of Reiki Radio’s original focus, applying Reiki and related practices to real life. Interviews will continue only as live “Happy Hour” episodes on Fridays at 4:00 PM Pacific on Reiki Radio’s YouTube channel. I'm sharing why I stayed with this work for over 15 years, how Reiki deepened my self-knowledge, expanded my studies (intuition, psychic development, Hermeticism, Akashic records, astrology, etc), and inspired me to help others prioritize their own healing and purpose.
I'm also reflecting on how we're living in a time of influence, highlighting the traditional term, Reiki Shihan (good example), and a call to live the principles through everyday actions. Please email me your questions to shape future episodes, sign up for my newsletter, and download The Energetic Alchemist app (free Activation Circle on June 14th).

Embodying Reiki: Grief, Intuition and Reclaiming Power
Years after our initial conversation, I reconnect with Tonya Parker, a contributor to “Reiki Heart and Soul,” to discuss how her relationship with Reiki shifted into something she embodies, crystallizing during her 2020 training with Frans Stiene. Tonya shares many inspiring ways of seeing and understanding healing. Her message speaks to the hearts of healers and to the depths of our wounds. Rev. Tonya Parker, MEd, EdS is the Founder and Creatrix of Mind Body & Soul Food, a holistic wellness and conscious healing practice devoted to nourishing women’s lives from the inside out. With more than three decades of experience as a psychotherapist, educator, healer, and spiritual teacher, Tonya bridges ancestral wisdom and modern restorative practices to support deep, sustainable well-being. Through offerings rooted in mind, body, soul, and food, she creates sacred spaces for restoration, self-remembrance, and embodied leadership. Her work integrates Reiki, meditation, retreats, mindful nourishment, reflective writing, and community-based healing, inviting women to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with their truth. As a self-identified W.I.T.C.H. (Woman In Tune with Conscious Healing), Tonya teaches from lived practice, guiding women to heal generational patterns, reclaim their voices, and rise as conscious leaders in their lives and communities.

Her Reiki Miracle: Sobriety, Healing Chronic Pain, and Heavenly Helpers
Susan Stone is an Artist, Author, Reiki Master, Intuitive Healer/Counselor, Ordained Minister, and Initiated Shamanic Practitioner After a massive heat stroke in 2013, Susan had to give up her career as a professional gardener and reinvented herself as an entrepreneur.
Starting her first brick and mortar business in 2017 when she opened ZenDen…a metaphysical, crystal, sage, and gift store. After selling ZenDen at the end of 2022, Susan needed a quiet place to paint and to finish her next book. And true to her nature…within six months, The Arts was born! It celebrates all the arts - the creative, the music, the healing and the mystic arts.
Today I interview Susan Stone, a contributor to the book “Reiki Heart and Soul: Many Stories, One Bright Light,” about her path from decades of addiction and trauma to sobriety and healing through Reiki. Susan recounts a 1988 car accident that left her with compound-fractured ribs and years of untreated injury, leading to nine years on narcotics and worsening health, and describes how entering AA in 1997 and meeting her sponsor Holly led her to Reiki. After sessions with Reiki practitioner, Elaine Roy, Susan took a deep breath for the first time in nine years and found her ribs visibly back in place. She discusses later experiences including being struck by lightning in 2010, a quantum healing session that restored her vision, her work with “heavenly helpers” during sessions, and her community offerings through The Arts Port Royal, free Reiki clinics, animal Reiki, and Reiki training for children, along with her books “We Heard You” and “The Magical Nature of Humans.”

BEING REIKI | The Journey of a Reiki Master-Teacher
Join me for an incredible conversation with Christal McElveen of http://neptunesgate.com, a fellow contributor to the book, “Reiki Heart and Soul: Many Stories, One Bright Light,” about her lifelong sensitivity to energy, learning to cope with intense empathy, visions, and so much more! Christal shares how she eventually shut her gifts down, then was cracked open by her grandmother’s passing, leading to years of numbness, severe high blood pressure, and unprocessed grief. Her grandmother catalyzed her spiritual path, bringing Reiki into her life for deep, transformative healing. She also discusses Reiki levels, shadow work, grounding, intuition, and developing boundaries. I especially loved hearing about Christal’s “year of no” in 2023, redefining “selfish,” her path to reclaiming feminine softness, and how she now teaches Reiki and offers yearlong spiritual mentorship and other services.

Energy of April | Activation and Stability
April 2026: Activation and Stability
Focus: Bold Action, Self-Focus and Values
King of the Month: Aries
Element: Fire
Mode: Cardinal
Ruling Planet: Mars
Oracle: The Architect
Whether you’re full of joyous laughter or pouting because no one wants to play by your rules, you are causing some form of ruckus. Hello Aries. This energy is full of child-like excitement, with the temperament of a child who is spoiled. Either way it goes, your feelings or intentions will not go unnoticed. If you find yourself making a lot of noise, this is a reminder that silence, too, is golden. We often get more out of observation and listening before inserting our objectives.
Being ruled by Mars only adds fuel to the fire, but the flames aren’t always meant to burn. This energy can be channeled to heighten your drive and determination. You may feel encouraged to take bold action, distinguishing yourself from the crowd. The key will be to recognize if you’re ramming forward with assertiveness or aggression. There is a difference: play nice and be mindful of your arrangement of words.
Aries is also up for any challenge. If you have a goal in mind, but there is an obstacle in view, this energy will support you in finding a solution. And if you have ever considered taking a role in leadership, allow this energy to teach you how it’s done! While Aries can be a lot to digest (it’s hard to swallow what you can’t catch), this sign knows how to lead with authority and will inspire greatness from all whom follow. The key word is inspire, which can be done respectfully; not all who lead have done so through fear. Ask a Libra to explain how to catch more flies with honey…because Aries isn’t here for that.
If you have a tendency to be extreme, don’t let this energy take you over the edge. Aries doesn’t do anything with subtlety. It can be okay to jump, but be mindful of your landing, while considering what you may be jumping in to. Yes, Aries will take the time to do the research, but once they have decided, it’s all or nothing. Remember, there’s balance in all things.
Gift From Aries: May you be bold in your stance, impervious to ideals that are not aligned with your vision and purpose, moving blissfully past the grips of contentment. May you have the gall to believe in yourself, first and foremost, understanding that you must be the leader of your own destination and cause. May you laugh, uproariously, shaking and dismantling any obstruction of truth.
Events of the Month, Mark Your Calendar...
Fools Day: April 1st
Queen of the Month (Full Moon in Libra): April 1st
axis of relation + balance of authority
Mars in Aries: April 9th (4 planets + Chiron in Aries on this day)
six weeks of momentum!
audacity, fearlessness, unapologetic action, inspiration without restriction
Mercury in Aries: April 14th (6 planets + Chiron in Aries on this day)
mental breakthroughs, active minds
be inspired, but not impulsive!
Alchemist of the Month (New Moon in Aries): April 17th
ambition...make the intention about YOU!
audacity to say YES to personal goals/desires
Sun Enters Taurus: April 19th
grounding the Aries fire, being methodical
focus on values, comforts and pleasures

How You're Moving Into This New Season of Life!
Yolanda and Melinda reunite to celebrate the equinox and discuss seasonal shifts, especially the Sun moving into Aries, and what it means for energy practitioners. They reflect on transitioning from Pisces themes of dissolution, forgiveness, purification, and compassion - moving into Aries, cardinal fire, action, audacity, and self-directed initiative, while noting the need to balance water and fire. They also mention other astrological aspects, including multiple placements that are currently in Aries (Sun, Moon, Venus, Neptune, Saturn and Chiron), linking this to re-identification, amplification of audacity, passion, taking up space, and personal agency. As practitioners of energetic arts, they go beyond the ideas of the equinox and discuss how Aries energy shows up in all of us and what we can learn through this season. In the end, they pull tarot and oracle cards for the season.

Mystical Awakenings, Dragons and Manifestation
In this episode I sit down with the hosts of Haute Hustle Morning Mystics, Jeneth and Lyanca. I met these incredible women when I was invited to be a guest on their show, and now they’re on the other side of the microphone, sharing about how they met, their career pivots, and the spiritual experiences that shaped their work.
Jeneth shares how a life-changing surgery sparked mystical encounters, led to channeling, and inspired her book, “Seven Dragons: A Guide to A Limitless Mind,” which later evolved into dragon-based healing journeys and bodywork.
Lyanca recounts leaving a successful advertising career after feeling depleted, pursuing life coach training, and experiencing a 2020 spiritual awakening that deepened her path, including QHHT sessions, channeling messages about collective intention and empowerment.
Together they describe Haute Hustle’s mission as building a nonjudgmental community, exploring manifestation and frequency, and offering tools like hypnotherapy, a money-frequency quiz, and ongoing programs and events. Energy of March 2026 | What's for You Is Intensifying
These energies of life are intensifying, personally and collectively, as I’m sure you’ve been witnessing. While the collective is obvious, and triggers a lot within, this is a reminder that it’s important to acknowledge that – what’s being triggered within. The internal eruption serves a purpose in our process of purification and renewal, exiting winter to welcome spring.
Based on astrology, combined with what I’ve noticed personally and through my work with others, what is FOR us is being amplified. This is why you can feel what may seem like a churning, a knowing that expresses more as feeling than words…this is a powerful time of reconstruction that we’re all experiencing now. The key will be in how we choose to navigate.
We’re currently in the expression of Pisces, integrating the lessons of Aquarius. We’re being asked to now dissolve, softening our grips on what could be (in our thoughts) and merging with what IS, which can only be understood through feeling.
Why?
It’s all frequency, and the matter at hand is the frequency in which you’re cultivating to function from in expression. It’s all energy that becomes translated into thought, that becomes the basis of what we create and experience in form. However, there’s an opportunity to dissolve separation between light and shadow, realizing what is true…and for you now, embodying what’s revealing in higher ways before the audacity of Aries kicks in.
Past Life Regression | Releasing "Forever Feelings"
Today we have a conversation with Jonathan Robinson, a certified hypnotherapist and instructor, as well as a Reiki practitioner. He specializes in past life regression hypnotherapy and spiritual hypnotherapy because he’s seen how powerful it is when people finally access the deeper layers of the subconscious mind. In our conversation, Jonathan explains hypnosis as a guided meditation that brings the brain into a relaxed theta state, allowing the subconscious to accept positive suggestions and create change. He also shares how reading authors like Michael Newton and Dolores Cannon led him into regression work and emphasizes that clients don’t need to “believe” in reincarnation for sessions to be useful. In fact, some experience past lives as metaphors, others as verifiable events, but the main goal is healing and empowerment.
Jonathan describes common reasons people seek sessions, including “forever feelings,” unexplained fears and phobias, shame, relationship patterns, and even birthmarks, and gives examples of clients linking present-day issues to past-life experiences (fear of drowning, fear of strangers, difficulty with love, and compulsive overeating tied to a vow to never be beautiful). He also talks about spiritual themes, such as healers being punished in prior lifetimes, clearing the throat chakra, soul evolution through challenges, repeating “tests” until lessons are learned, and how regression can illuminate relationship dynamics and “soul contracts.”

In this conversation, Yolanda speaks with Frank Arjava Petter, a well-known Reiki teacher, about his life updates, spiritual practices, and the profound changes he has experienced. Arjava shares his recent focus on creative projects and his reflections during a period of change in his work-life. He emphasizes the importance of self-reflection, staying present, and the interconnectedness of heart-mind in achieving peace and self-awareness. They discuss the significance of viewing oneself as whole rather than divided parts, the challenges of the spiritual journey, and the potential for personal transformation to impact broader society. Arjava also touches on his creative endeavors, including upcoming book projects, and the joy he finds in simple everyday activities. The conversation highlights the necessity of patience, self-discipline, and finding joy in all aspects of life.

Reiki Radio: Your Intuitive Nudge
We talk a lot about intuitive development, and for most of us, a step-by-step process helps to clarify and understand the ways we personally recognize and translate energy. Eboni Banks, author of, Your Intuitive Nudge: a Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting with Your Intuition, had an interesting experience of finding out that she was clairtangent.
Through her work, Eboni has found that most Reiki Practitioners are clairtangent but tend to question what they sense and what it all means. Lucky for us, Eboni has generously offered a seven-week clairtangent workshop for the Reiki Radio community! Spaces are limited, so register and save your spot!

Energize Your Heart in 4 Dimensions
Puran and Susanna Bair have devoted their lives to helping individuals improve their physical and emotional health by focusing on the heart. They teach a method called the Heart Rhythm Meditation, bringing your heartbeat and your breathing into sync.
Puran and Susanna Bair are today’s leading authorities on this practice, which was originally introduced to the Western world by Indian musician and mystic, Hazrat Inayat Khan. However, the Bairs have taken it far deeper in their work and in their two books Living from the Heart: A Guide to Heart Rhythm Meditation and Energize Your Heart in 4 Dimensions.
Using their interpretations of Hazrat’s Sufi teachings and integrating evidence-based research, they have created a life-changing method of heart-centered meditation, the Heart Rhythm Meditation. Together they have trained thousands of practitioners, teachers, mentors, healers and retreat guides around the world.

Healing Without Avoidance: The Ritual of Self-Love
Today’s guest describes her turning point as happening when she was trying to survive a life that didn’t reflect who she truly was. Her story is filled with heartbreak and triumph, all leading her to the realization that nothing could satisfy life more than loving herself fully, wholly, and unapologetically. Her path also revealed how the power of ritual is far greater than routine, and in our conversation, there was an illumination around the profound impact of our choices and the connection between forgiveness and compassion.
Carrie Asby, a wellness coach, author, retreat founder, and a yogini is trailblazing the world of ecotherapy and holistic healing. Through one-on-one coaching, daily rituals, nature connection, and soul-nourishing retreats, she helps people slow down, listen inward, and rise into a life that is calm, clear, and rooted in who they truly are. Her guiding principle is simple: it isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence, and it starts with a single step home. Carrie is passionate about helping people rediscover the quiet power within and use it to live their dreams out loud.

Out of Body Experiences: The Art of Astral Projection and Travel
Before we begin, I want to thank you for the beautiful messages on social media and the emails I received in celebration of twelve years on Reiki Radio. I appreciate you.
Today’s interview is special and kind of personal to me, in that I finally get to speak to someone who understands experiences I’ve had since I was fifteen-years old: sleep paralysis. If you’ve been listening to the podcast for some time, you may have heard me mention how I used to experience sleep paralysis in a very extreme way. At this point in my life, it still happens, but only a handful of times a year, versus nightly. I've heard of other people having experiences similar to mine, but no one I've ever had a conversation with, until today!
Arcturus has had an incredible spiritual journey and has become an instructor of astral projection. He’s also an author of, Out of Body Experiences: A Practical Guide to Exploring the Astral Plane, and Occult History, Volume One.

The Inner Heart of Reiki | Seven Years Later
One of my Reiki teachers, Frans Stiene, is the author of a book that completely illuminated my practice and understanding of Reiki. The book, The Inner Heart of Reiki: Rediscovering Your True Self, was originally published in 2015, and I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Frans about it in 2018.
Today, seven years later, I had the opportunity to sit with Frans again, exploring the brilliance of this book, but this time as his student. I’m honored to celebrate the republishing of The Inner Heart of Reiki: Rediscovering Your True Self, sitting with Frans to laugh and enjoy another conversation about Reiki, while sharing with all of you.
International House of Reiki teacher, Frans Stiene, is a renowned Reiki researcher and teacher living in Haarlem, Netherlands, while traveling the world to teach the system of Reiki. In addition to The Inner Heart of Reiki: Rediscovering Your True Self, Frans also authored Reiki Insights, and The Way of Reiki: The Inner Teachings of Mikao Usui. He co-wrote The Reiki Sourcebook, Your Reiki Treatment, The Japanese Art of Reiki, and A-Z of Reiki.
