What Happens After Your Reiki Classes
Hello, Beautiful Alchemist…
One of the things I’ve learned through years of practicing and teaching Reiki is that taking the classes is only the beginning. Our Reiki training gives us a beautiful foundation where we learn techniques, principles, practices, and new ways of understanding energy. Then we go home and begin living with it…and that’s often when the really interesting questions begin.
· What else am I noticing?
· I’m I doing this right…does it really work?
· I’m I good enough at this?
· Can I trust what I’m sensing?
· How does intuition fit into my practice?
· What else is possible with energy work?
· And what does any of this have to do with the person I’m becoming and the life I’m actually living?
This is why I created The Alchemy Circle…
While Reiki is our foundation, Alchemy Circle isn’t only about Reiki. It’s an ongoing space for exploring energetic alchemy, intuition, frequency, consciousness, mind-body-energy unification, and various energetic arts in ways that support both your practice and your everyday life.
If you’ve been attuned to at least Reiki Level One, regardless of lineage, you’re welcome to join us. You don’t need to consider yourself advanced, or have your intuitive abilities figured out. And you definitely don’t need to know what your unique path or purpose is before you arrive. That’s part of what we’ll explore.
We meet live, twice each week, creating dedicated space for education, personal practice, questions, experimentation, and the kinds of conversations that become possible when we’re willing to stretch beyond the basics. And if you can’t attend every class live, everything is recorded so you can move through the work as your schedule allows.
Over the years, I’ve watched something beautiful happen within this community. People begin trusting themselves differently. They become more comfortable being seen and heard in their authenticity. Old doubts around what they’re capable of begin to soften. Their understanding of energy expands, but so does their understanding of themselves, their lives, and the ways they want to participate in the world. I’ve watched people blossom in community in the most incredible ways! There’s something powerful about exploring these parts of ourselves alongside others who are also curious, practicing, questioning, and discovering.
To be clear, my goal isn’t to teach you to practice exactly like me.
My mentoring is to help you move beyond spiritual information overload and into embodied energetic trust, becoming more confident in your own energetic expression and the path that is uniquely yours.

Chiron Retrograde in Taurus (begins August 3rd) Theme: Healing self-worth and security Known as the “Wounded Healer”, Chiron’s retrograde invites us to acknowledge old wounds related to self-worth, stability, values, and abundance. Rather than avoiding these themes, we’re encouraged to meet them with compassion and allow deeper healing to unfold.
Lion’s Gate Portal (July 27th – August 12th, Peak on August 8th) Theme: Spiritual activation, creativity, and expansion The Lion’s Gate Portal is an annual energetic alignment associated with heightened awareness, inspiration, and spiritual growth. It’s an opportunity to deepen your connection with your inner wisdom and consciously align with the next expression of your path.
Venus Trine Pluto & Venus Opposite Neptune (August 10th) Theme: Relationships, creativity, attraction, and clarity This energy can feel especially magnetic, inspiring creativity, connection, and transformation. At the same time, Neptune’s influence may bring moments of confusion or idealization, reminding us to communicate clearly and remain open to seeing situations more honestly.
Mercury Opposite Pluto & Mercury Trine Neptune (August 11th) Theme: Transformation of perception and intuitive insight These aspects invite us to examine the stories we tell ourselves. While misunderstandings or power dynamics may arise, there’s also tremendous opportunity for deeper emotional processing, intuitive awareness, and shifts in perspective.
New Moon & Solar Eclipse in Leo (August 12th) Theme: New beginnings, confidence, creativity, and visibility This eclipse may bring unexpected changes, revelations, or opportunities that support your growth. Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (August 28th) Theme: Illumination, intuition, completion, and surrender Pisces encourages us to soften our attachment to certainty and deepen our relationship with intuitive insights and inspirations. This Full Moon may reveal how something you’ve been cultivating since Pisces season (end of February – Mid March of this year) has evolved, offering insight, completion, or a new perspective.
Overall Theme of the Month: Acclimating to New Frequencies Throughout August, the overarching invitation is to allow yourself to adjust to what’s emerging within you. Rather than rushing to define every change, trust that awareness develops over time. Yolanda Williams | Making the Invisible Visible: Black Women 365 Days of the Year
Yolanda, The Energetic Alchemist, has become well known for her ways of sharing traditional Reiki teachings and practices, guiding students to prioritise their self-work above all else. She trained with internationally recognised Reiki Teachers in the lineages of Usui Reiki Ryoho and Jikiden Reiki® and has been a Reiki Shihan for over fifteen years. Following the success of 100 Black Women Who Have Made A Mark, Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage is delighted to launch a new project for 2026; Making the Invisible Visible: Black Women 365 Days of the Year. Each day will showcase a different woman, whose story has shaped Black British or global Diasporic history; many of whom remain overlooked or under-celebrated in mainstream narratives. This will take the form of a rolling programme of short films, released throughout the year to keep these stories in daily circulation and to create an evolving constellation of leadership, resistance, artistry and enduring impact.

Hello, Alchemist! Here’s your May energy update. We start by reflecting on April’s fiery Aries season as an invitation to pause, acknowledging growth, and integrating lessons learned. Then we explore Taurus season, as fixed earth energy ruled by Venus, emphasizing grounding, sensual presence, stability, self-worth, and financial responsibility. And of course, we look at the month’s numerology and oracle theme: the Teachings card (number 5), highlighting awareness, practice, and expanding into the awareness of being one with All there is.

Her Reiki Miracle: Sobriety, Healing Chronic Pain, and Heavenly Helpers
Susan Stone is an Artist, Author, Reiki Master, Intuitive Healer/Counselor, Ordained Minister, and Initiated Shamanic Practitioner After a massive heat stroke in 2013, Susan had to give up her career as a professional gardener and reinvented herself as an entrepreneur.
Starting her first brick and mortar business in 2017 when she opened ZenDen…a metaphysical, crystal, sage, and gift store. After selling ZenDen at the end of 2022, Susan needed a quiet place to paint and to finish her next book. And true to her nature…within six months, The Arts was born! It celebrates all the arts - the creative, the music, the healing and the mystic arts.
Today I interview Susan Stone, a contributor to the book “Reiki Heart and Soul: Many Stories, One Bright Light,” about her path from decades of addiction and trauma to sobriety and healing through Reiki. Susan recounts a 1988 car accident that left her with compound-fractured ribs and years of untreated injury, leading to nine years on narcotics and worsening health, and describes how entering AA in 1997 and meeting her sponsor Holly led her to Reiki. After sessions with Reiki practitioner, Elaine Roy, Susan took a deep breath for the first time in nine years and found her ribs visibly back in place. She discusses later experiences including being struck by lightning in 2010, a quantum healing session that restored her vision, her work with “heavenly helpers” during sessions, and her community offerings through The Arts Port Royal, free Reiki clinics, animal Reiki, and Reiki training for children, along with her books “We Heard You” and “The Magical Nature of Humans.”

This energy is full of child-like excitement, with the temperament of a child who is spoiled. Either way it goes, your feelings or intentions will not go unnoticed. If you find yourself making a lot of noise, this is a reminder that silence, too, is golden. We often get more out of observation and listening before inserting our objectives.
Being ruled by Mars only adds fuel to the fire, but the flames aren’t always meant to burn. This energy can be channeled to heighten your drive and determination. You may feel encouraged to take bold action, distinguishing yourself from the crowd. The key will be to recognize if you’re ramming forward with assertiveness or aggression. There is a difference: play nice and be mindful of your arrangement of words.
Aries is also up for any challenge. If you have a goal in mind, but there is an obstacle in view, this energy will support you in finding a solution. And if you have ever considered taking a role in leadership, allow this energy to teach you how it’s done! While Aries can be a lot to digest (it’s hard to swallow what you can’t catch), this sign knows how to lead with authority and will inspire greatness from all whom follow. The key word is inspire, which can be done respectfully; not all who lead have done so through fear. Ask a Libra to explain how to catch more flies with honey…because Aries isn’t here for that.
If you have a tendency to be extreme, don’t let this energy take you over the edge. Aries doesn’t do anything with subtlety. It can be okay to jump, but be mindful of your landing, while considering what you may be jumping in to. Yes, Aries will take the time to do the research, but once they have decided, it’s all or nothing. Remember, there’s balance in all things.
Gift From Aries: May you be bold in your stance, impervious to ideals that are not aligned with your vision and purpose, moving blissfully past the grips of contentment. May you have the gall to believe in yourself, first and foremost, understanding that you must be the leader of your own destination and cause. May you laugh, uproariously, shaking and dismantling any obstruction of truth.

Energy of March 2026 | What's for You Is Intensifying
These energies of life are intensifying, personally and collectively, as I’m sure you’ve been witnessing. While the collective is obvious, and triggers a lot within, this is a reminder that it’s important to acknowledge that – what’s being triggered within. The internal eruption serves a purpose in our process of purification and renewal, exiting winter to welcome spring.
Based on astrology, combined with what I’ve noticed personally and through my work with others, what is FOR us is being amplified. This is why you can feel what may seem like a churning, a knowing that expresses more as feeling than words…this is a powerful time of reconstruction that we’re all experiencing now. The key will be in how we choose to navigate.
We’re currently in the expression of Pisces, integrating the lessons of Aquarius. We’re being asked to now dissolve, softening our grips on what could be (in our thoughts) and merging with what IS, which can only be understood through feeling.
Why?
It’s all frequency, and the matter at hand is the frequency in which you’re cultivating to function from in expression. It’s all energy that becomes translated into thought, that becomes the basis of what we create and experience in form. However, there’s an opportunity to dissolve separation between light and shadow, realizing what is true…and for you now, embodying what’s revealing in higher ways before the audacity of Aries kicks in.
Past Life Regression | Releasing "Forever Feelings"
Today we have a conversation with Jonathan Robinson, a certified hypnotherapist and instructor, as well as a Reiki practitioner. He specializes in past life regression hypnotherapy and spiritual hypnotherapy because he’s seen how powerful it is when people finally access the deeper layers of the subconscious mind. In our conversation, Jonathan explains hypnosis as a guided meditation that brings the brain into a relaxed theta state, allowing the subconscious to accept positive suggestions and create change. He also shares how reading authors like Michael Newton and Dolores Cannon led him into regression work and emphasizes that clients don’t need to “believe” in reincarnation for sessions to be useful. In fact, some experience past lives as metaphors, others as verifiable events, but the main goal is healing and empowerment.
Jonathan describes common reasons people seek sessions, including “forever feelings,” unexplained fears and phobias, shame, relationship patterns, and even birthmarks, and gives examples of clients linking present-day issues to past-life experiences (fear of drowning, fear of strangers, difficulty with love, and compulsive overeating tied to a vow to never be beautiful). He also talks about spiritual themes, such as healers being punished in prior lifetimes, clearing the throat chakra, soul evolution through challenges, repeating “tests” until lessons are learned, and how regression can illuminate relationship dynamics and “soul contracts.”
