Hello, Alchemist!
One of the things I love most about Reiki is that it’s practiced globally, uniting many of us in an awareness of ONE, that may have been overlooked otherwise. On this episode, you’ll hear about the journey and experience with yoga that brought Lilly Allen-Duenas into the same awe and understanding of ONE. She also learned a lot about of differences, and the beauty within that, as she learned and taught yoga in several different countries.
Lily is a holistic healer, Reiki Master, vegan nutritionist, and meditation instructor. Her work is focused on conscious collaboration, compassion, connection, and community. She’s also an international yoga teacher, founder of the Wild Yoga Tribe, and host of the Wild Yoga Tribe podcast. Lily has taught yoga classes and workshops in surf hostels in Sri Lanka, hotels in Bali, and wellness centers in the Philippines. Through her podcast, and all of her endeavors, she strives to serve her community in a way that is accessible, authentic, and inclusive.

I had this insight while I was driving, and posted it on Facebook in May 2017. I was wondering about why and how we are changing. The information that I received came through as a partial image, partial message. I saw an apple tree with an abundance of apples. Some were still hanging from the branches and some had fallen to the ground. I got the sense that the tree was symbolic of Source and we were the apples.
The next image I saw was of the apples on the ground beginning to change. Some were rotting and others were cracking open. I had to sit with that image for a moment before it started to click…
The apples that were cracking open revealed their seeds. The seeds were symbolic of the soul. Once that understanding hit me, the next message was clear – if an apple were to acknowledge its own seed, it would also become aware of its ability to plant its seeds, reconnecting with earth, only to become an expression of the tree! The apple has the potential, inherently, to recognize that it is an expression of the Source it came from. The apple IS the tree, and it will realize itself when it allows itself to CRACK OPEN, look within and do the work of reconnecting to its own Source.
