Yolanda Williams | Making the Invisible Visible: Black Women 365 Days of the Year

Yolanda, The Energetic Alchemist, has become well known for her ways of sharing traditional Reiki teachings and practices, guiding students to prioritise their self-work above all else. She trained with internationally recognised Reiki Teachers in the lineages of Usui Reiki Ryoho and Jikiden Reiki® and has been a Reiki Shihan for over fifteen years. Williams is also certified in Wellness Counselling, various methods of intuitive readings and created The Energetic Alchemist oracle deck for seekers and practitioners who enjoy working with their own intuitive resonance.

As host of Reiki Radio Podcast, Williams is known for her engaging interviews, inviting other teachers and authors to share their experiences, globally. Her passion is to illuminate deeper understanding of energetic arts for all who seek the experience of knowing themselves in higher ways. Her classes include Usui Reiki Ryoho, all levels, in San Diego, as well as mentoring and intuitive awakening courses, online. Her year-long mentoring program, The Alchemy Circle, is open to practitioners of all levels and lineages.

Most recently, Yolanda created a platform featuring other teachers and practitioners called, The Reiki Class. Here you will find classes, sessions and other resources to support your path of self-mastery. The platform also includes a podcast, Awakening Airwaves, presenting several incredible shows to further support our community. Following the success of 100 Black Women Who Have Made A Mark, Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage is delighted to launch a new project for 2026; Making the Invisible Visible: Black Women 365 Days of the Year. Each day will showcase a different woman, whose story has shaped Black British or global Diasporic history; many of whom remain overlooked or under-celebrated in mainstream narratives. This will take the form of a rolling programme of short films, released throughout the year to keep these stories in daily circulation and to create an evolving constellation of leadership, resistance, artistry and enduring impact.
